FIBA 3x3 Europe Cup Qualifiers 2024 set to heat up as tickets up for grabs
COPENHAGEN (Denmark) - Desperate teams will fight for coveted tickets at the upcoming FIBA 3x3 Europe Cup Qualifiers 2024.
The ninth edition of the Europe Cup will feature 24 teams - 12 for each gender - and be played in Austria's capital of Vienna on August 22-25.
The men's teams to have directly qualified are host Austria and defending champions Serbia, who won their fifth straight title after outlasting Lithuania in last year's final.
Lithuania, Netherlands and France have also qualified through being the best-ranked teams in the respective categories on the cut-off date of November 1, 2023.
In the women's, there are also five teams straight through highlighted by host Austria and defending champions Netherlands, who beat Spain in last year's unforgettable final.
France, Germany and Hungary also qualified after being the top-ranked teams before the cut-off date.
There are still 14 spots available - 7 from each gender - with four qualifiers in June set to determine the final tickets to Vienna.

Men's: Denmark, Spain, Czechia, Italy, Croatia, Portugal, Hungary, Belgium
Women's: Denmark, Spain, Czechia, Italy, Croatia, Portugal
The pool winners will advance directly to the semi-finals. The 2nd and 3rd placed teams will play against each other in a play-in to qualify for the semis.

Bratislava, Slovakia, Qualifier: June 15-16
Men's: Slovakia, Poland, Switzerland, Ukraine, Turkey, Estonia, Germany, Bulgaria
Women's: Slovakia, Poland, Switzerland, Ukraine, Turkey, Estonia, Lithuania
The pool winners will advance directly to the semi-finals. The 2nd and 3rd placed teams will play against each other in a play-in to qualify for the semis.

Constanta, Romania, Qualifier: June 15-16
Men's: Romania, Latvia, Israel, Slovakia, Greece, Great Britain, Georgia, Montenegro
Women's: Romania, Latvia, Israel, Slovakia, Greece, Great Britain, Georgia
The pool winners will advance directly to the semi-finals. The 2nd and 3rd placed teams will play against each other in a play-in to qualify for the semis.

Men's: Kosovo, Albania, Andorra, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Cyprus, Ireland, Luxembourg, Malta
Women's: Kosovo, Andorra, Azerbaijan, Cyprus, Ireland, Luxembourg, Malta
The pool winners will advance directly to the semi-finals, while the 2nd and 3rd placed teams in the pool will contest an additional play-in game with a place in the semis at stake.
The winners of each category will qualify to the Europe Cup.
